The location is ideal, right in the middle of town. I chose this motel because it was close to the town centre but not on the main road, and I wasn't disappointed. HISTORY OF MACLEAN BOWLING CLUB With Grafton establishing one of the State's first bowling clubs in 1909, the interest in the sport of lawn bowls was obvious, however, the first attempt to form a bowling club in Maclean during 1911 failed due to the cost involved. The room had that brand new smell about it...it was large, clean and well appointed.
